To New Beginnings

Over the past few months I have truly been blessed. I (like everyone) have had my downs and ups. Yes I know thats backwards but the ups in this story are more important. I have learned the hard way that things I expected to work out ended up not working like I though. I found myself being upset and angry by the outcome of the situation. I now that more blessings came out of that experience and I am so grateful for my amazing friends and family who are always there for me when I need them the most. I now know why things did not work out the way I was wanting them to. The big man had better things in store for me and for that I am so grateful. I absolutely love the quote " Everything happens for a reason, just believe." I have learned to live my life around this quote even though at times it is hard, I remember the ones who love me and will always be there for me. The other night I was able to spend a couple hours with my amazing friend Emily and her husband Brett. I remembered the good old days when Emily and I had the world in our hands and every now and then would want to give up and talk about moving away to Utah. One night Em and I went to the movies and when were sitting there waiting for the movie to start, these two older ladies walked in and Em and I looked at each other and laughed. Not only because they were the cutest old ladies and they were matching but because we both were like "One day that will be us." To look now and see where we both are, I can't help but be grateful for our friendship and know that I will always be there for her and vice versa. Emily I love you and you are going to make a great mom and Brett is going to make an amazing dad. I love you both. I am so thankful for my amazing mother and the great advice she has always and will always continue to give me. I don't know where I would be with out her. The same goes for my sister Cori. She is my best friend! I am so excited for her Brett and little miss Henli to visit next weekend. Well I love you all!

Clear Creek and much more!

I am probably the worst blogger ever!!! I NEVER blog! Sorry but this summer has been so crazy!! Anywho, this past weekend a big group of us went up to Clear Creek by Winslow to go cliff diving! It was such a blast! We had a great group turn out and a lot of fun! It was a three hour drive there and back so in all a six hour drive! My car for sure had the funnest people in it! I was the designated picture taker and took pictures of every one jumping. It was such a good day and spending it with my friends made it that much better! Here are some pictures from the trip.

So other news is that my mom and I are going back to Missouri for a week to see Cori Brett and sweet baby Henli. Man she grows so much every day and I love the pictures that Cori sends us everyday. I can't to hold her again and spend my whole day just holding her and napping with her!!! Here are some close ups of baby Henli!

Where To Begin...

So many fun and exciting things have happened in the last week! First off my baby brother Ethan Graduated from Mountain View High School! I am so proud of him and he has a bright future ahead of him. Congrats little bro I love you and look forward to see what amazing gifts and talents you are going to share with the world! So all of my family came into town for the graduation! My dad and his wife Ann and all my sisters! We stayed in Scottsdale at my older brothers girlfriends dads house( you get all that haha). We swam and had a blast just hanging out and spending time with each other. The 2nd most exciting thing that happened was that my dad and my self and my brothers girlfriend Jackie got to go to game 6! 9 rows from the court! It was so much fun even though we lost, we still had a blast. It was sad to see everyone leave on Sunday but I am so grateful for the time we got to spend together! It is this cute girls 10th birthday today! I love my little sister so much and can not believe she is 10 years old today! When she was little about one or two I would call her my twin because we looked identical for a long time!!! She is so sweet and loving and I am very excited to see her this week! I love you Grace Marie!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Cori! I hope you had an amazing day! My sister Cori is my best friend! I can't believe another year has passed. I remember when we were little and our favorite show was Sailor Moon and we would record every episode and watch it every day! We have had so many great times together. When we were little we would always sleep in Cor's bed on Christmas eve and tell each other what we got one another! haha every year we would do that. I love my sister so much and I am so blessed to have her in my life. She always knows how to cheer me up and make me smile. One of my most favorite memories with her is when Twilight came out, it was a Saturday night and we were talking on the phone and decided to go watch Twilight together. Well as many of you know Cori was living in South Dakota at the time and I am here in Arizona. There is an hour time difference so we looked up times and here it started at 8:30 and there it started at 9:30. So we talked on the phone on the way to the movie and once we were both waiting in our lines we ended the conversation and said that we would call when the movie was over. So as nerds that we both are we of course saved the seat next to each other or each other. It was a night I would never forget. Even though Cori was so far away she was right there next to me the whole time. After the movie I called here and we talked for a good hour about the movie. I love you Cori. I would never want to share these moments with anyone else. You are now a mom to be and I am so excited for you and Brett. You two will make the best parents!
Also on the 3rd I went to the Suns Playoff game against the Spurs!! Of course the Suns won 111 to 102!!!! It was the best game I have EVER been to!

Time....

So I am not even kidding when I say that time is not on our side. What happened to this semester? How can there be only 2 weeks left in the semester? There is so much to do and I am not even sure how I am going to get everything done. I love how I ALWAYS wait until the last minute to get everything done. I never learn ha but thats okay because I usually do good. So I am not even kidding when I say that I have so much to look forward to this summer! So lets start from the top. So the first and most important is that my amazing sister Cori is going to have her little baby girl!!! She is due June 26th and my mom and I are going for a week to help out! I am going to be an auntie and I am so very excited! I also start summer school the first week in June and end the first week in August. I am so excited because I am taking a Philosophy class with my mom and then I am taking a Human Development class. Both of which I am taking online. Oh and I forget to tell you all, I finally got a lab top! Its a new MacBook and its pretty amazing. I bought it at the wrong time though haha because all I want to do is mess around with it and learn how to use everything but I have finals and everything, so I am holding out messing with it until finals are over. Let me tell you it is super hard! Well I am going to get back to working on some homework haha. Love you all!!!!

6 Months later, And so much to be grateful for...

Wow it has really been 6 months sense my last update, which really was not an update haha. Over the last 6 months I have grown up so much and have learned so much about myself. I am so grateful for my wonderful friends and amazing family who have helped me over the last few months. The last 3 months I have had to make some of the biggest decisions I have ever had to make. As I have been praying and trying to get my answers I have turned to the advice of my friends and family. I honestly don't know what I would do with out them. I have realized that I have the most amazing friends a girl could ask for. When I was younger I was always told to choose your friends wisely and to make sure they knew what I was all about. Over the last 3 years I have made 3 of the greatest friends I have ever had and I love them all so much. We all have had some pretty great times together and shared many wonderful experiences. As I have gotten to know them and spend more and more time with them, I truly don't know where I would be today if they were not a part of my life. This is all I can think of for now and Ethan needs the computer for homework. Love you all!Kim
